HANSE 505 (2016)

The powerful rig, long waterline and sleek underbody of the Hanse 505 ensure exciting sailing on this powerful ocean-going cruiser. With the sheets and halyards led back to the winches at the helm, the boat is perfectly set up for single handing, which is also great for couples or family crews with small children. The cockpit layout works well, with comfortable benches, a table and two shallow seat lockers, plus a large lazarette and liferaft locker aft. The 505’s fold-down transom platform, when upright, has neat fold-out helm seats and is easy to access through the twin wheels.

The Hanse 505 not only looks pretty stunning but is also comfortable down below to the point of luxury, with spacious and airy accommodation. The saloon has a generous in-line galley, a nav station with a forward-facing seat, a large L-shaped settee and a console behind the twin seats. There are three double cabins, one pullman and two shower/WC’s.
