Booking your yacht

Once you have made your selection from the yachts on offer please email us to check on availability for your preferred dates. We are able to place a yacht on option for you for 7 days whilst you make a final decision. There is no commitment on your side to take the yacht.

To confirm an option, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the charter cost is payable by bank transfer . Once we have received your payment we will send you a Confirmation Invoice showing the details of your booking, the deposit paid, and the outstanding balance plus due date.

The payment terms of our operators vary, however your invoice will show the exact payment terms for your charter. Most operators will require the balance to be paid 6 – 10 weeks before the charter commence. If you book within this period, the full amount is payable on booking.

Security deposit

A security deposit is required for all charters against the possibility of damage to the yacht, loss of equipment or late return. The amount, payable on embarkation, varies according to the charter operator, location and size of yacht. It is refunded, less any necessary deductions, when you return the yacht. Some operators offer a non-refundable insurance damage waiver in place of, and with a reduced security deposit. Contact us for further details.

Passports, visas and health issues

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct travel documents. This means a passport with validity up to at least 6 months after your return date, as well as any necessary visas. If you are travelling to countries in Asia, Africa or the Indian Ocean, you may also require immunisation against certain diseases so please check with your health care provider.

We will advise you on the best options for getting from the nearest airport to your charter base. This may be local transport, taxi although many operators will provide this service for a small extra charge.

The majority of charters will commence on Saturday at 5pm, and end on Saturday at 9am; however you will be required to bring the yacht back to the base on Friday afternoon by 4pm with the last night spent onboard in the marina. Exact start and finish times will be shown on your contract/invoice.
